Based in and around the Home Counties, the members of The Berkeley String Trio have been playing together since 1991.
With many years’ experience of all kind of events and functions, they have specialized in providing music for weddings since they began.
Having studied at major London Music colleges, the members of the trio are successful freelancers and have careers which span all kinds of musical fields from opera to pop, accompanying Placido Domingo, Andrea Bocelli, Katherine Jenkins, Annie Lennox, Jason Donovan, Westlife and The Bee Gees amongst others.
The Trio has performed in many different settings including the Bath Festival and Portsmouth Festival of the Sea as well as at major London venues (The South Bank Centre, Royal Academy, Science Museum, V & A Museum, the O2 Arena and Brixton Academy). The Trio has also been booked for events at many prestigious hotels including The Lanesborough, The Savoy and Claridges in central London.
